APPLICATIONS
Used as a corrosion inhibitor on copper and copper based metals in cooling systems, air conditioning systems, heat exchangers and hydraulic fluids & cleaners. Its biocidal properties help preserve formulated products. Benzotriazole has a better stability profile against oxidizers like chlorine.
SAFETY & HANDLING
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Decomposes when heated. Wear safety goggles. Wash with a lot of water in case of contact. Should be stored in a dry location, avoid direct sunlight.
